Tracking advisory level heat Wednesday, toasty through the weekend

Heat Alerts kick off Wednesday as temperatures begin to rise. Some areas will see a few hours of fog before a quick clearing trend. Expect mostly sunny skies and highs into the 80s, 90s and triple digits inland. Avoid strenuous activity during peak heating hours. Marine alerts have expired but may need to be issued once again as some larger swells approach the Central Coast. Sundowner winds will be a part of the weather pattern through the Gaviota corridor and some gusts in Santa Barbara could reach 25-30mph. Wind Advisories will be likely tonight.

Peak heating for most occurs Thursday. Many areas will battle daily records and overnight lows will be additionally warm. Fire weather concerns arise as humidity lowers. We hold above average through the weekend with minimal weather pattern shifts. Some fog may be present each morning depending on microclimate but all clouds clear fast each day.
