Heating up Tuesday, heat advisory Wednesday

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Hot weather continues this week with high 70s and 80s near the coast.

Heat alerts return Wednesday through Thursday for the coast, beyond the weekend into Monday for inland areas in Santa Barbara and Ventura County with 90 and 100 degree temperatures expected.

Tropical Storm Elida will move past our area by Wednesday, Fausto behind it looks to move pretty far west away from California.

Strong high pressure, weak onshore winds, warm ocean water and increased humidity will keep us hot through the extended forecast.
