Foggy Monday morning, tracking another round of heat

Happy Monday! We begin the morning with dense fog and visibility issued for major highways, use caution when driving. Fog will scurry back to the ocean by midday then clearing completely closer to 2pm. Highs rise into the 70s and low 80s. Another heat Advisory is set for areas north of Gaviota starting at 10am lasting through 8pm Tuesday. These areas include San Luis Obispo County beaches, Santa Maria and Buellton. More clouds creep in tonight.

We start Tuesday morning with clouds and fog before a faster clearing pattern occurs. High pressure begins to strengthen bringing our next wave of heat. This wave will pale in comparison to the historic heatwave last week, however we stay well above average all week.

Warm weather holds Wednesday as minimal marine layer influence causes temperatures to rise fast. We hold above average through the weekend with minimal day to day changes. Next week appears to be warm and dry as well.
