Local kids run the 47th Annual Arroyo Grande Turkey Trot

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. -- Local children ran the 47th Annual Arroyo Grande Turkey Trot on Sunday afternoon.

Kids from kinder to 8th grade participated and winners took turkeys home.

The annual event is hosted by the Arroyo Grande Recreation Services Department. Their main sponsor for decades is the Lions Club.

The Central Coast Athletic Foundation also helped organize the event and local students volunteered their time.
