One person injured after car rolls over on Highway 101 in Santa Maria

Santa Maria firefighters responded to a rollover crash on Saturday on the Highway 101 Donovan Road offramp.

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Santa Maria Fire Department, AMR and California Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle rollover on the Highway 101 offramp to Donovan Road Saturday evening.

CHP received the report around 5:15 p.m. They said one person was trapped in a vehicle that had rolled over onto the right-hand side of the offramp.

CHP temporarily closed the Donovan offramp while emergency personnel responded to the crash.

Santa Maria Fire said the person had to be extricated from the vehicle.

The patient sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment.

CHP is still investigating the cause of the crash.
