Santa Barbara Dons name Gabe Renteria Girls Flag Football Head Coach

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Gabe Renteria will lead the Dons inaugural girls flag football program as Santa Barbara High School named him as the head coach.

Renteria has spent the past 5 years as an assistant coach with the Dons football program coaching all 3 levels, freshman, junior varsity and varsity.

Renteria has coached youth football in Santa Barbara for the past 13 years.

He also serves as a Campus Safety Assistant at Santa Barbara High School.

Girls flag football will be a CIF-Southern Section sport for the first time in the fall.
