Six Bishop Diego football players sign to play at 4-year colleges including Gossett who commits to UTEP
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - What a rush for star running back Qu'Ran Gossett as he gets a full-ride scholarship to play at The University of Texas at El Paso.
Gossett said, "People don't even know everything I've been through, the living situation, the financial situation, everything, just for me to come out and play, full-ride to college to play my ball it's amazing."
He rushed for 2,100 yards in his senior season and totaled 32 touchdowns.
Gossett was the Marmonte League Offensive Most Valuable Player.
Defensive players Pasefika Salatielu and Su'e Luamanu sign with Cal Poly.
Three Cardinals are headed to Arizona Christian University.
Quarterback AJ Vele, offensive lineman Toa Evagelia and linebacker Nolan Fouvale will play for the Firestorm.
