San Marcos edges Dos Pueblos 55-54 in boys basketball.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - It was a bit of deja vu for San Marcos boys hoops as they pulled out another close win against rival Dos Pueblos.

Andre McCullough made an acrobatic, double-pump layup with 25 seconds left and the Royals survived a last second attempt from Justin Stock and held on to beat DP 55-54 at the Thunderhut.

San Marcos is 5-4 in the Channel League.

Earlier this month McCullough drained a late three-pointer in Goleta to give the Royals a 3 point victory over the Chargers.

Dos Pueblos trailed for much of the game but grabbed a 1-point lead on a Grant Hughes layup with 1:35 left.
