SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - San Marcos jumped out to a 21-5 lead and kept the foot on the gas as they routed Lompoc 86-35 in Channel League boys basketball.

Shakir Ahmad led the way with 18 points while Aidan Mandel added 16 for the first place Royals who improved to 4-1 in league.
