CIF Southern Section softball matchups announced

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - CIF Southern Section announced this year's First Round matchups on Saturday, including several Ventura County and Santa Barbara County schools.

First round games are set to take place on Thursday.

Division 2

  • Top seed Camarillo has a bye until the second round
  • Pacific View league champ Rio Mesa will host Santa Fe

Division 3

  • Dos Pueblos will play at Quartz Hill
  • Santa Paula will host Highland

Division 4

  • Oxnard opens at Garey
  • Nordhoff will play at Calvary Chapel/Santa Ana

Division 5

  • Channel League champ San Marcos will host Mayfield
  • Santa Clara will host El Monte

Division 6

  • St. Bonaventure will host Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary
  • Lompoc will play at St. Genevieve
