Dons bats erupt in 14-3 win at Dos Pueblos

Santa Barbara High School baseball routed Dos Pueblos 14-3 to keep sole possession of first place in the Channel League.

Goleta, Calif. - Erick Elizalde made sure Santa Barbara High School kept sole possession of first place in the Channel League baseball race.

He homered, tripled, walked 3 times and scored five runs as the Dons routed Dos Pueblos 14-3.

Elizalde pitched two innings of scoreless relief after Juan Perez worked five innings allowing three runs to get the win.

Santa Barbara is now 9-1 in league while DP slipped to 7-3 and in third place. San Marcos is 8-2.
