Cate loses in quarterfinal game to Marshall

CARPINTERIA, Calif.- The Cate Rams got off to a good start leading Marshall leading 10-8 after the first quarter.

But the visitors started rolling after that and Cate lost 50-29 in a CIF-SS Division 4-A quarterfinal girls basketball game.

The Rams got 4 three-pointers from sophomore star Meena Baher in the first half but Cate still trailed 27-17 at the break.
