Full day of celebrations for Pacifica football
OXNARD, Calif.- It was a triumphant celebration for the Pacifica Tritons.
The recently crowned CIF-State Division 2-A State Bowl champions rode buses throughout Oxnard.
The football heroes ended their hour and a half long ride at the Oxnard School District where the players broke out in celebration after learning that all the money had already been raised for their championship rings.
Pacifica won their first State championship last weekend with a 34-6 win over McClymonds of Oakland. It was also the first State football title for the city of Oxnard.
Earlier in the day three Pacifica star players signed National Letter of Intent papers.
Caleb McCullough signs with Arizona State, Malik Sherrod commits to Fresno State and Kyrie Wilson is headed to Cal Poly.
