Pacifica’s Malik Sherrod says yes to Fresno State

OXNARD, Calif.- Before star running back Malik Sherrod plays in a CIF-State Bowl Championship game, he had some important business to take care of, his college choice.

Three days before Pacifica's big game, Sherrod announced on Twitter that he has committed to Fresno State.

Several colleges wanted him but the playmaker is rolling with the Bulldogs.

Sherrod and his teammates have already won the school's first ever CIF-SS title and SoCal Regional title, now they will play for a State title.

The CIF-State Division 2A championship game against McClymonds of Oakland is Saturday, December 14 at noon at Cerritos College in Norwalk.
