Pacifica blasts Birmingham to reach CIF State Bowl 2A title game

Pacifica captures CIF-State Division 2A SoCal Regional championship

VAN NUYS, Calif. RJ Maria threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score as Pacifica of Oxnard captured the CIF-State SoCal Regional 2A championship with an easy 51-23 victory at Birmingham.

Pacifica will play McClymonds of Oakland in a CIF-State 2A championship bowl game on Saturday, December 14 at Cerritos College in Norwalk with kickoff at noon.

The Tritons jumped out to a 31-7 lead at halftime over Birmingham.

Receiver Kyrie Wilson had two touchdowns and Nohl Williams scored a TD and had two interceptions for Pacifica who improved to 14-1 on the season.
