PALMDALE, Calif. - Santa Barbara has proven to be road warriors, now the Golden Tornado will come home to play for their first CIF football championship in 30 years.

Deacon Hill threw four more touchdown passes, two to Dakota Hill and Santa Barbara won convincingly at Palmdale 37-15 in a CIF-SS Division 8 semifinal game.

The Golden Tornado will meet Sunny Hills of Fullerton in a championship game played in Santa Barbara. The CIF will determine whether it's November 29 or the 30th and school officials will decide on a location.

Santa Barbara scored touchdowns on its first three possessions of the game and never looked back as they led 27-0 at the half.

Wisconsin-commit Deacon Hill, just a junior, has thrown four td passes in each of Santa Barbara's playoff wins.

This playoff run has included two long trips, Palm Desert and now Palmdale.

The Golden Tornado last played in a championship game in 1989 when they tied Muir 7-7 to share the CIF title.
