Drought is over but Santa Barbara wants more playoff wins

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - After winning the school's first playoff football game since 1989, Santa Barbara High School wants another postseason victory right away.

Santa Barbara plays at Palm Desert on Friday, November 15 in a CIF Division 8 quarterfinal game.

The Golden Tornado(the Dons nickname in the playoffs) routed Gahr High School 44-0 in the first round to end a 30-year winless skid in the postseason.

Santa Barbara enters the game 9-2.
