Gauchos even weekend series with Sunday’s win against Oregon

Pac-12 Network

EUGENE, Oregon - After losing the first two games of the weekend series against the Ducks, the Gauchos finished the weekend with a two-game win streak.

No. 26 UCSB leaves Oregon tying the weekend series after a 7-5 victory over the Ducks.

It was the only game of the series that was not decided by one run.

The game was tight for majority of the day but in eighth inning, Gauchos' Christian Kirtley would drive his second homer of the season over the left center wall.

Kirtley's home run would give the Gauchos a cushion that lasted the remainder of the game.

UCSB returns home Tuesday night to go against LMU.
