Cal Poly baseball tops No. 5 Michigan in extra innings
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Cal Poly baseball got some revenge after a 10th inning loss to No. 5 Michigan on Friday. On Saturday, it was the Mustangs topping the Wolverines in extra innings.Â
The Mustangs got a walk-off single in the 10th to beat Michigan 5-4, setting up a rubber game on Sunday.
Nick Marinconz hit a two-run homer in the third inning for Cal Poly (4-7), who had lost six of seven.
The series finale is Sunday at 1 p.m.
