BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - UC Santa Barbara men's soccer is back in the Elite Eight for the first time since the Gauchos' National Championship season in 2006.

The Gauchos got a golden goal in the 102nd minute to beat Indiana 1-0 on the road late in a second overtime period.

Striker Will Baynham took advantage of a Hoosiers mishap in front of their own goal. Baynham took a loose ball just outside the box and fired it into the net for his 10th goal of the season and the one that sent UCSB on to the Elite Eight.

The Gauchos will play at Wake Forest in an NCAA Quarterfinal match on Saturday afternoon. The winner will advance to the NCAA College Cup in Cary, N.C., where the final four teams will play to determine a national champion.
