King Arthur Flour prize goes to whoopie pie baker at Ventura County Fair

VENTURA, Calif.-Four fortunate judges got to taste 9 unique cookies during the King Arthur Flour Baking Contest at the Ventura County Fair on Thursday afternoon

Bakers said the flour company chooses the type of baking contest each year.

A giant blue ribbon went to Peggy Linberg who made "Tropical Passion Whoopie Pies."

Her original cookie used King Arthur Gluten Free Flour.

Linberg won a set of Messerstahl knives that she can have engraved.

The Ventura County Fair has a pie contest coming up on Saturday.
