Trains help relieve X Games traffic

VENTURA, Calif.-Extreme sports fans heading to the first X Games finale in Ventura will notice detours near the Ventura County Fairgrounds.

They may also notice some cool trains.

Teens set up their tripod on Saturday to photograph and video the 868 train that dropped off and picked up X Games attendees at the Ventura Train Station by Seaside Park also known as the fairgrounds.

Ventura residents said the traffic seemed to be a breeze compared the California Strawberry Festival that was moved from Oxnard to Ventura last month.

The games also seem to be increasing business at Tony's Pizxaria and other businesses that are in walking distance from the event.

The X Games wrap up on Sunday.
