Two people rescued with mild injuries after going over the side of Santa Paula Canyon on Saturday

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. – Two people were rescued with minor to moderate injuries after their car went over the side of a 100 foot cliff at Santa Paula Canyon Saturday morning.

Ventura County Fire Department received the rescue call around 7:26 a.m. and requested a mutual air-copter to hoist the injured pair due to morning fog.
