Utility project on Highway 166 to conduct traffic stops near Cuyama River Bridge

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – California Highway Patrol will be conducting full traffic stops on Highway 166 Wednesday morning due to a utility project.

On August 9 from 8 a.m. until noon, Michels Pacific Energy will replace insulators on a PG&E transmission tower using a helicopter near the Cuyama River Bridge.

Caltrans said that drivers can expect up to five minutes delays.
