PASO ROBLES, Calif. — A motorcyclist is dead following a collision with another vehicle Saturday, according to the Paso Robles Police Department.

The PRPD report says the crash involved a white minivan on the intersection of Highway 46 and Golden Hill road.

After being dispatched to the traffic incident, police say the rider of the motorcycle was found dead at the scene.

"Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor to this collision, said Paso Robles Police Dept. Commander Tod Rehner. "The names of the involved parties are being withheld at this time."

Paso Robles police say traffic was temporarily put to a stop at the intersection of the crash for a couple hours before reopening the roads between Highway 46 and Golden Hill road.

The crash is under investigation by PRPD and are requesting anyone with any information to contact them at (805) 237-6464.
