Santa Barbara High School honors top seniors with celebratory parade
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- There are a select few seniors at Santa Barbara High School that go above and beyond what it means to be a Santa Barbara Don. On Monday, SBHS principal Elise Simmons led a parade to honor those top Dons.
About a dozen SBHS faculty and staff drove from home to home delivering yard signs that say a Santa Barbara High School senior lives here along with another sign showing the senior's name and that they're a Distinguished Don.
On Tuesday, another SBHS parade will travel to the remaining seniors on the Distinguished Dons list.
