Two earthquakes felt Sunday night and Monday morning near Lompoc
LOMPOC, Calif. — Two earthquakes jolted the Lompoc Valley Sunday night and early Monday morning.
As of Monday, Your News Channel has received no reports of injuries or damage to structures in the area.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the first earthquake, a magnitude 3.2 with an epicenter ten kilometers southwest of Lompoc, was felt by residents shortly after 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
The second earthquake, a magnitude 3.6 with an epicenter eight kilometers southwest of Lompoc, was recorded at 12:49 a.m. Monday morning detailed the USGS.
