PG&E hosts wildfire safety webinar

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - PG&E is hosting a free online webinar to share their wildfire prevention efforts with customers.

PG&E serves both Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.

According to spokeswoman, Carina Corral, PG&E cuts down, trims, or cuts back about 1 million trees and inspects 100,000 miles of power lines a year to decrease the risk of a wildfire.

PG&E will send low flying helicopters to inspect power lines and dying trees in San Luis Obispo County next week.
