The Department of Homeland Security and FEMA partnerships Center Director explains federal efforts to assist Californians in storm recovery

SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- The Department of Homeland Security and Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Center Director, Marcus Coleman will explain President's Biden trip to California and the federal efforts to assist Californians with storm recovery.

Many people across California lost their homes, cars, and belongings to flooding.

President Biden will arrive in Santa Cruz today in an effort to visit some flooding areas.

Coleman will explain how those impacted by the flooding can apply and receive assistance from FEMA.

Some locals impacted by the Orcutt sinkhole have suggested FEMA has not been helpful to their damages.
