Lompoc playground closes for repairs

City of Lompoc

LOMPOC, Calif. -- Lompoc Recreation and Parks closed one of their playgrounds for repairs on Tuesday.

The Thompson Park playground will be closed for repairs on the toy structure.

Staff says that the park slide and the climbing wall are damaged.

City Parks and Rec staff say the playground area is fenced off for the community's safety. They ask the public to stay out of the fenced area for their safety.

At this time, there is no estimated time for the reopening of the playground.
