SANTA MARIA, Calif.- The Santa Maria Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night on the 1700 block of McClelland street in Santa Maria.

A victim was shot and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives are currently investigating the shooting.
