Santa Maria launches Junior Giants at Home

BASEBALL SEASON

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department announced on Tuesday the launch of Junior Giants at Home, a free virtual baseball season bringing the baseball diamond directly to home.

The Junior Giants at Home Spring Season includes live, age-specific practice videos for Junior Giants by Giants manager Gabe Kapler and his coaching staff.

The videos include:

25-35 minutes
Team-style sessions
Physical activity
Nutrition
Baseball/softball skills and drills
Reading
Bullying prevention
Junior Giants' four bases of character development

The virtual season runs through the week of June 1.
