First e-bike safety awareness event comes to downtown Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif.– Santa Barbara's first-ever electric bike safety awareness day is Thursday Jan. 19 and the county is inviting the community downtown to learn more about and take an electric bike safety pledge.

The Downtown Santa Barbara Fitness Fest & E-Bike Awareness block party begins at 5 p.m. with electric bike riding and more fitness-based activities.
