National Weather Service issues flood advisory for Santa Barbara County

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Santa Barbara County active until 1:30 p.m. on Jan 14.

The forecast is for moderate rain in the range of 0.25 inches to 0.5 inches per hour.

This amount of rain can cause minor urban and small stream flooding and there is an added risk of debris flows especially around burn scars.
