UCSB cancels classes Monday and Tuesday

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.– UCSB has canceled classes for the remainder of Monday and into Tuesday due to extreme weather conditions in the area.

UCSB Academic Senate Divisional Chair Suzanne Scott confirmed classes are canceled for the two days to prioritize community safety.

Campus operations still remain open with staff, students, and faculty remaining flexible. Professors will communicate with their classes to reschedule. Evacuation warnings and orders have been issued across the county.
