SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – At 9:36 p.m. last night electrical service for portions of downtown Santa Barbara was lost due to a circuit lockout, according to Southern California Edison.

Initially, 3,742 customers were left without power. Southern California Edison shifted power demand to other sectors while crews isolated the failure to limit the number of effected people.

Power remains out for seven customers and full load is expected to return around 9 p.m.

If you are without power, see street lights out or want to see a map of current power outages in your area you can contact Southern California Edison here at their outage center website.
