GOLETA, Calif. - The relaxed health care order gives graduations some new directions.

Dos Pueblos High School principal Bill Woodard had a sly grin when he said their graduation plans are full of surprises now that they can move forward with some traditions.

All he would reveal is that parents and families can park in the big student parking lot next to the performing arts center.

That is where they will put a stage and project images on the wall.

Students will be able to walk across the stage when they hear their name and get their pictures taken.

"We are doing our best to make this a very special ceremony and there are some surprises that we have planned that are pretty cool, even for a normal year they would be pretty cool, so we are going to celebrate the heck out of this class, they deserve it," said Woodard.

Woodard has a daughter who is a junior at DP and like many parents he wonders what is in store for her Class of 2021.

The Class of 2020 will graduate with all the safety precautions needed to make is a special night next Wednesday, June 3.
