Oceano man arrested and home searched in connection with child pornography investigation

OCEANO, Calif. (KEYT) – A 25-year-old Oceano man was arrested for possession and distribution of suspected child sexual abuse material and a home on Beach Street was searched Wednesday in connection with the ongoing investigation.

On April 29, a search warrant was executed at a home in the 2200 block of Beach Street in Oceano related to an ongoing investigation into child sexual abuse material shared the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office in a press release Wednesday.

According to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office, a 25-year-old Oceano man was identified as a suspect and he was taken into custody during the execution of the search warrant.

Detectives believe there may be additional survivors connected to their investigation who may have been part of the child sexual abuse material the 25-year-old is accused of distributing added the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office.
