Pat Butler Elementary entered shelter-in-place status after basketball pops Wednesday
PASO ROBLES, Calif. – Pat Butler Elementary was placed under a shelter-in-place status after an old basketball burst it seams and made a loud sound.
The shelter-in-place order was lifted earlier Wednesday morning.
Staff at the Paso Robles elementary school decided to shelter-in-place while a school resource officer cleared the campus detail Paso Robles Police Department.
According to Paso Robles Police, once the source of the single loud bang was located, the school resumed normal operations.
