Fire crews responded to a commercial fire Monday evening in Paso Robles
PASO ROBLES, Calif. – Fire crews responded to a structure fire at a business at 500 1st Street in Paso Robles Monday evening.
Around 7:20 p.m. Monday, firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire and upon arrival, crews noted light smoke and upgraded their response to a commercial fire incident detail Paso Robles Fire Department.
According to Paso Robles Fire Department, crews had to pry open the business' main door and discovered a small fire in one of the bathrooms.
The building had minimal smoke damage and was turned over to the owner after the response from a total of 11 firefighters with assistance from the Paso Robles Police Department state Paso Robles Fire Department.
Paso Robles Fire Department detail that the case of the fire was a bathroom exhaust fan that was left on and overheated.
The Paso Robles Fire Department noted in their press release that if you have a Knock Box at your property, be sure to update the keys in the box if the locks have been changed.
