Detectives arrest Caliente man who arranged to meet a minor for sex on Wednesday

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. – Detectives with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office arrested a Caliente man who arranged electronically to meet someone he believed to be a child for sex on Wednesday.

The 67-year-old Caliente, California resident was arrested at the agreed-upon location upon arrival detail San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office.

According to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office, the man was charged with sending or showing harmful material to seduce a minor, contacting a minor with the intent to commit certain felonies, and arranging a meeting with a minor for a lewd purpose.
