San Luis Obispo homeless facility seeing record numbers of people, volunteers needed

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - It's your chance to help those who help the homeless every day in the community.

The 40 Prado Road homeless facility in San Luis Obispo is in need of volunteers.

The center is seeing record numbers of people looking for shelter, food, medical, mental health treatment and other services.

It does not have adequate staffing and support to handle the number of people it is seeing.

To volunteer, even for one day a week, call 805-544-4004 to register and get more information or visit capslo.org.
