Two-vehicle collision on Highway 101 results in 24-foot bus on its side and traffic jam

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – California Highway Patrol (CHP) is responding to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 101 north of San Luis Obispo.

According to CHP, the two vehicles involved are a silver Nissan Versa and a 24-foot passenger bus that ended the incident on its side.

Portions of Highway 101 have been reopened to traffic, but crews warn traffic will be slowed for an extended portion of the highway detail CHP.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
