San Luis Obispo County Fire responded to structure fire east of Templeton

TEMPLETON, Calif. – San Luis Obispo County Fire Department responded to a structure fire east of Templeton at 1160 Pina Selva Pl. Thursday afternoon.

Cal Fire San Luis Obispo County Battalion Chief Steve Martin detailed that units arrived to discover a barn fully engulfed in flames resulting in a total loss.

Six engines and a water tender participated in the response.

The owner of the property describes themselves as repair workers and detail that they lost two motorcycles, a 1964 Ford truck, and a tractor.

According to the owners, they estimate losses of around half a million dollars in tools alone, their barn, and one water well. They were not sure of the cause of the fire.
