Oceano Disaster Recovery Center running Thursday, June 22 through Monday, June 26
OCEANO, Calif. – A Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will open in Oceano on Thursday, Jun. 22 to assist people impacted by storms in February and March of this year.
The DRC will be open from Thursday, Jun. 22 through Monday, Jun. 26 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Oceano Community Services District Board Room at 1655 Front Street in Oceano.
The Center is a partnership between the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Governor's Office of Emergency Services, and San Luis Obispo County.
County residents that experienced damage to their homes or businesses can get in-person help applying for federal assistance and disaster loans, update their existing applications, and learn about other resources.
Spanish and ASL interpreter services will be present at the Center.
An additional DRC will open to accommodate residents in the northern parts of San Luis Obispo County at a later date detail the County of San Luis Obispo's Office of Emergency Services.
