Eight-year-old boy on scooter hospitalized with moderate injuries after being hit by a car

PASO ROBLES, Calif. – Paso Robles Police Department responded to an eight-year-old pedestrian with moderate injuries after being hit by a vehicle heading westbound on Cedarwood Drive Sunday night.

The eight-year-old boy was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

Paso Robles Police received a call of a traffic collision between a vehicle and a juvenile pedestrian around 6:15 p.m. Sunday evening.

According to Paso Robles Police Department, arriving officers found the boy who had been hit by a vehicle while he was believed to be riding a self-propelled scooter.

The vehicle was reportedly driving slowly, around 10 to 15 miles per hour, and drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor in the collision detail Paso Robles Police Department.
