Former Atascadero school district employee arrested for making threats

ATASCADERO, Calif. – The Atascadero Police Department notified the Atascadero Unified School District office in early January that a former employee made threats to current district employees.

Due to the serious and direct nature of the threats, police conducted an investigation and confirmed the threats violated Penal Code 422 which prohibits terrorist threats according to police.

Atascadero Police alongside Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department took the suspect, James S. Klink, into custody where he remains.

The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Atascadero Police Department at 805-461-5051.
