Three SLO Covid-19 testing sites to close Jan. 20

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif.– Three Covid-19 testing sites in SLO county will close at the end of the day Friday due to a loss in funding from the California Department of Public Health.

The following locations in Grover Beach, Paso Robles, and San Luis Obispo will discontinue operations at the end of the week.

  • Grover Beach: 1336 Ramona Ave. #A, Grover Beach, CA 93433
  • San Luis Obispo: Acacia Creek Business Park3450 Broad St. (Ste. 111)San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
  • Paso Robles: Paso Robles Train Station800 Pine St.Paso Robles, CA 93446

“While it is disappointing that our community sites are closing, I encourage residents to use rapid home tests or visit one of the other testing providers in our community. For those who have relied on these sites and need support lining up another option, I encourage you to contact our team—we are here to help you through this transition,” said Dr. Penny Borenstein, County Health Officer.
