American Red Cross distributing cleanup kits in San Luis Obispo County

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. – The American Red Cross is giving away cleanup kits at Vista Court neighborhood from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and at the Templeton Fire Station at 206 5th St. from 3 to 4 p.m.

The kits contain buckets, shovels, disinfectants, sponges, gloves and masks as well as other items useful to remove water and debris.

Comfort kits are also available with toiletries, water and snacks.

“We are proud of our partnership with the American Red Cross,” said Anita Konopa, the SLO County Emergency Operations Center Care and Shelter Branch Director.
