SLO Sheriff’s donate bicycles to community kids in annual holiday giveaway

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.– San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Department hosted its annual Christmas Bicycle Giveaway Tuesday morning donating refurbished bikes to children in the community that wouldn't have one ahead of the holidays.

Held at the Sheriff's Honor Farm since 1989 the tradition remains alive and strong. Partnering with the Sheriff's Advisory Foundation, Rita's Rainbows, Bike SLO County, The Sandlot Group of San Luis Obispo, and Target, the Honor Farm staff and inmates, deputies were able to provide bikes and helmets to local children.
